 Description
QST Fibreglass Mesh is a specially woven and treated fibre glass reinforcing mesh used together with QST Polybond Plus coatings to provide strength and impact resistance. Depending on the requirements, different grades of mesh are available .
Uses When embedded in the QST Polybond Plus Coating, the mesh provides continuity of surface that enables it to resist cracking while increasing impact resistance. The QST Fibreglass Mesh is available in either 15 ounce or 20 ounce depending on the requirement and job specification |

Application |
| |
Apply the QST Polybond Plus Coating to the entire surface of the EPS Panel. Fully embed the mesh in the wet base coat trowelling from the centre to the edge of the mesh so as to avoid wrinkles. The mesh shall be laid continuous at all corners and lapped in accordance to QST Solutions recommendations. Trowel flat all excess materials that come through the mesh. After completion, allow to dry overnight and re-apply the second coat on top so as to provide a monolithic coat. |

Special Conditions and Recomendations |

All edges of the EPS Panel at bottom and top and at all openings must be wrapped the reinforcing mesh |
|
The reinforcing mesh may be wrapped from the front side onto the studs at an opening or panel edge or the mesh may be attached to the substate and wrapped onto the face of the isulation board from behind. It is important to note that all EPS Panels must be covered with the QST Polybond Plus coating. |

It is recommended that the inside curl of the mesh be applied towards the face of the EPS Panel for easier application. |
